Congratulations to our April Leaders of the Month! We are proud of you!

Due to the wet and windy weather forecast, we are rescheduling Field Day for this Friday, May 23rd in the morning. We will not be doing the water games, but will have lots of fun events for the students. Students may still want to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and wear their class colors on Friday (not Wednesday) K-purple, 1-orange, 2-red, 3-blue, 4-green, 5-yellow, 6-pink, and 7-black. Please be sure to have students dress for the weather!
Thank you!

Photos from our 5-8 grade reading rewards incentive trip day. We're proud of all our students who went above and beyond reading expectations!

Kindergarten students are celebrating the end of the school year with an ABC countdown! Last week they made pictures with sidewalk CHALK (Cc), ate DONUTS and DREW pictures (Dd), conducted science EXPERIMENTS (Ee), and ate lots of yummy FRUIT for snack (Ff)!

Fifth grade science students learned how clocks measure the Sun's movement. The students made their own sundials and used flashlights to understand how the position of the light affects the time down on the clock. Then, students took their sundials outside to see how the position of the sun can tell them the time of day.

Fourth grade science students have been learning about the connection between sounds and vibration and exploring the role air plays in enabling a sound vibration to travel.

Reminder: PTO Butcher Shop meat pick-up is this afternoon from 3:15-5:30 at the school. Thanks!

Montmorency Hat Day Fundraiser for Dylan Wescott
Dear Montmorency Community,
We are reaching out to you with an opportunity to show your support for a beloved former student, Dylan Wescott. Dylan was severely injured during a track meet. To help alleviate some of the burdens he and his family are experiencing, we are organizing a "Hat Day" fundraiser.
Join us in wearing your favorite hat on Wednesday and Thursday of this week!
For a donation of any size, you can wear your hat to school and show your support for Dylan. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.
Please bring your donations to your teacher (middle school, bring it to your first hour class) on Wednesday and/or Thursday morning.
Let's come together as a community and show Dylan and his family that they are not alone.
Thank you for your generosity and support.

A great opportunity for future Lady Rocket basketball players!

Good luck to Randal and the rest of the Rising Rockets as they compete at State!
