Butter Braid fundraiser! Montmorency Student Council has begun the Butter Braid fundraiser. Emails have been sent out with a link for online ordering. Paper order forms will be sent home this week. This fundraiser helps the Student Council to hold school dances, support school activities, and donate to the school and local charities. If you do not have a student to order from, you may order by using the link below. Order pick up will be 3/13. Thank you for your support!

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION: Montmorency School will be registering children who will be entering kindergarten this coming fall on Wednesday, March 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eligible students must be five years old on or before September 1, 2025. Parents need to submit a certified copy of the child’s birth certificate. Certificates for children born in Sterling may be obtained at the City Clerk’s Office in the Sterling Coliseum. The cost of the birth certificates is $15.00 payable with cash, check or credit card. A hospital certificate will not be accepted. You must present an unexpired state issued photo ID, be a listed parent on the birth certificate, and two forms of legal identification for proof of residency (mortgage or rental agreement, power or electric bill). Please have the child’s Social Security number with you at registration. If you have questions, please call the school office at 815-625-6616.

Kindergarten celebrated the 100th day of school on Friday! They wore superhero capes with 100 items glued on the back, counted out 100 snacks, and made necklaces with 100 fruit loops! What a super 100th day! ❤️🖤

Montmorency will have a 2 hour late start on Tuesday, January 21 with a 10:45 start time. All bus routes will also be 2 hours late.
